IT Project Management

Although theoretically independent of the subject matter, managing an IT project requires a specific managerial skillset. This is especially true as it takes particular methods to assess and track progress. The project manager needs special knowledge to be successful, particularly in an agile environment. One specific but recurring challenge in IT projects is the application of new technologies. Often existing teams initially lack the necessary experience, which poses big risks to the success and timeliness of the project. Such and similar risks have to be detected and addressed early!

If you are intending to engage in an IT project but you still lack an experienced project manager, look no further.
